Dead Man's Island


Before I tell about the story of book that I read, I will report about the CD with the reading books. Now, I read some books of Oxford book warms series. This spring semester Kumamoto Gakuen University's library got new English books. In these books, new type of Oxford book warm's series was there. It's with the CD that is kind of Audio book. I read finished "dead man's Island" with the CD. Its good work for reading and keep motivate reading a book. I will keep enjoy reading a book with the CD.

Long time no see, I met really interesting book. It called Dead Man's Island. Carol Sander, she was usual student, but she lost father because of his business trip, aero plan crash. By the contingency, her life was went to wrong, she started drag and drinking alcohol. Her mother can't watch Carol any longer. The mother let Carol to go back to England to start of her new life. In England, Carol’s mother found a job secretary on a small private island. They went to the island but many strange things occurred in front of carol. Like someone watching carol from the window of buildings, camera’s film took by the Island’s person after carol took photograph the face of the owner of the island.
But one day, Carol got the key to a mystery. The small Island owner, Mr. Ross went to a room at midnight. After he left he room, Carol went into the room silently. Carol was very surprised by the room. Her favorite singer, Jake Rosso’s poster posted. Then, Carol recognized that Mr. Ross was Singer’s Jake Rosso.
Mr. Ross, Jake Rosso told the truth to the carol. When Jake was Singer, He hit a girl by his car. He shocked by her death and he covered up the accidents that he also died with the girl because of his shock. After that, he decided to live in this small island to hide his appear and to forget about the girl. Carol wants to know someone Jake Rosso is alive actually. But it became a promise to secret of them. (357words/1711words)

How is the speed of the CD? Is it faster or slower than your natural reading speed?
